Writing Schedule (June 7-13 2026)

I'm currently organizing some thoughts about blogging productively. I would like to approach my work more systematically. This is motivated by two things:

My current thought on how to do this is that every Sunday I draft a reading/writing schedule for the following six days. This post will be a template and example. I'll publish a couple of these to help iterate on this method, and once I've figured out the formula I'll keep these schedules private.

Monday (June 8th)

  1. Finish reading "Hitler's Library." Review George Steiner's writing about the limited effect of great books and music on tempering the flaws in Hitler's character. Write and publish post about Hitler's reading habits.
  2. Finish reading "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight." Write at least 500 words of my Gawain story.
  3. Write another pastiche for the post "Subscribe to my Substack." (3/6 done)
  4. Do reading and notes for Machiavelli reading group.

Tuesday (June 9th)

  1. Write at least 500 words of my Gawain story.
  2. Write another pastiche for the post "Subscribe to my Substack." (4/6 done)
  3. Push out blog post about the Gospel of Mark.
  4. Write at least 500 words of my secret erotica.
  5. Read 1/4 of Gospel of Luke.

Wednesday (June 10th)

  1. Research attractiveness and femininity literature for the post "Consider feminizing your face."
  2. Write 30 haiku for hidden post.
  3. Read "Bouvard et Pecuchet."
  4. Read up to 1/2 of Gospel of Luke.
  5. Write at least 500 words of my Gawain story.
  6. Write another pastiche for the post "Subscribe to my Substack." (5/6 done) (no post published)

Thursday (June 11th)

  1. Finish and publish "Subscribe to my Substack."
  2. Write at least 1000 words of my Gawain story.

Friday (June 12th)

  1. Reread half of Shape of Space.
  2. Write at least 1000 words of my Gawain story.
  3. Write at least 500 words of my secret erotica. (no post published)

Saturday (June 13th)

  1. Finish rereading the Shape of Space.
  2. Publish Gawain story.
  3. Finish King Lear.
